USING THE BUILDING SCIENCE (BSC) APP
If you are using the BSC Analyzer App for the first time or are looking for a particular tool or information on a specific topic it is best to start with the Help system. Just click on the Help button and then select either calculations, information, principles, terms or units in the appropriate building science subject area.

ANALYSIS TOOLS
The building science subject areas currently available in version 2.0 are: Daylight; Lighting; Noise Control; Acoustics, HVAC; and, Costs.
ACCURACY LEVEL
The degree of accuracy of the results provided by the analysis tools is governed by what is appropriate at the conceptual design stage and the complexity of the analysis. While the analysis results provided by some of the tools are at the highest level of accuracy, in other cases good estimates are more appropriate.
CONSULTANTS
The building science subject areas currently available in version 2.0 are: Daylight; Lighting; Noise Control; Acoustics, HVAC; and, Costs.
EXPERT ADVICE
Apart from analysis tools each Consultants has three dedicated information options, specific to the Consultant’s area of expertise. While the first two options are focused on design objectives and foundational principles, the last option provides access to the Consultant’s personal reference library.
EXPLANATIONS
Explanatory slides are integrated into most of the calculation (analysis) tools to provide the user with insight into the technical concepts and principles that are associated with the particular tool.
